Job Description:
Participate in the development, maintenance, and management of the companies ISO systems.
Participate in the Internal auditing process
Perform inspection for incoming materials, work in process, and finished goods.
Perform document control activities including processing, review, and approval of quality records including inspection and design records.
Assists with resolving internal and external quality problems and with implementation of corrective actions.
Participating in the review and verifying non-conforming materials and initiating and following up on associated corrective actions as required.
Assist with handling of Customer and Supplier concerns/complaints in appropriate manner
Assists with the creation and maintenance of customer PPAP submission packages.
Creates, reviews, and updates travelers, to ensure proper documentation to set standards and customer product specifications
To monitor the practices and procedures in the company (internal audits)
Managing suppliers' performances and to conduct audits.
Assists with data entry and maintenance of weekly and monthly quality metrics.
Assists with calibration of gages and equipment and maintenance/upkeep of calibration system.
Will also be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Effective presentation/communication skills, project/resource management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment promoting company ideals
Frequent computer/report work, and administration of quality system programs and resources
Demonstrated problem solving and root cause analysis skills
Qualifications:
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Must be proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other measurement tools to validate parts to print specifications.
Willing to work overtime including weekend
